ABSTRACT

Integrated positron emission tomography integrated by/magnetic resonance (PET/MR) is one of the most important technical developments in the last decades. The endeavor of this article is to address up the general principle of PET/MR technology and imaging techniques including MR imaging-compatible PET detectors, functional properties of PET/MR detector and gantry, image generation, attenuation correction, and image processing principles.
